  • Wire Preparation
    The 30 km imported diamond wire is precisely wound by constant tension winding machine, with tension fluctuation controlled within ±2N.

    Grid Formation
    Four rollers of Ø330mm feature equally spaced grooves to form a parallel cutting grid. The groove pitch matches the slab thickness.
     

    Cutting Action
    The trolley operates at a constant lifting speed. The diamond wire runs reciprocally at 1500–2400 m/min with cooling water sprayed simultaneously.
     

    Panel Removal
    Use spacers to separate cut slabs. Remove worn wire sections and reuse the intact part as a new cutting surface in cycles.

How long is the lead time for worn-out core component replacements?

We provide free consumable parts. Core components adopt well-known brands such as SKF and Schneider, which are readily available off-the-shelf with short delivery lead times and no customization required.

Are we able to splice broken diamond wires ourselves? Or must we wait for your support?

Wiring training is included in the standard configuration, while the portable welding machine is available as an additional purchase, allowing you to handle regular wire breakages on your own. Different solutions apply to three types of wire breakage: for breakage caused by slack wire between reels, re-thread the wire and adjust the tension, which takes about 30 minutes; for wear-induced breakage in the cutting area, cut off the worn segment and splice the wire to resume operation, a process that takes 1 to 2 hours and requires the portable welding machine.

Can our factory electricians repair the equipment after arrival?

We offer a one-month training course, including machine operation, troubleshooting and daily maintenance.

Can our current workers operate it, or do we need new hires?

Existing gang saw operators can be transferred after training with no extra recruitment required. Their knowledge of stone properties is fully applicable. They only need to upgrade their operation skills to control wire speed, tension and feed rate, and get familiar with the PLC touch screen under one-month on-site guidance from our engineers. The diamond wire cutting system runs based on parameter settings rather than manual experience. Operators’ know-how can be converted into system data, facilitating standardized training for new staff.

We have diverse stone varieties and small batches. Is this equipment overkill?

Changeovers between materials and slab thicknesses with minimal downtime. The equipment can be fully utilized even for small and sporadic orders, resulting in improved overall production efficiency and yield rate.

How to handle stone shifting and edge chipping in cutting?

Check the raw stone for cracks before cutting and apply rubber coating if necessary. Align the stone after loading it on the trolley and fix the base with cement. Insert gaskets for support when the cutting depth reaches 15-20 cm, which effectively prevents stone shifting and edge chipping.
